Melissa (Missy) loses he mother when she is only one month old, and is raised by her grandmother, who despises her and emotionally punishes her. Gretchen, her grandmother, tells he son, Missy father that his daughter is stupid and will not listen to her and will never learn anything.
Lisa, loses her father on her fifth birthday. Where he went and where he is she has no idea. Her mother would not tall Lisa anything about Lisa’s father.
Before her sixteenth birthday, Lisa is raped by her mother’s lover.
When Lisa attempts to file for Juvenile Independence, she meets a lawyer who helps her, and informs her that she has not only a scholarship in a school in Denver, but also a income. Who provided the scholarship and the income, she was not told.
After she graduated from the college she is having dinner, on the patio of the restaurant. After her two friends leave her for a few minutes, Lisa hurried to finish her meal. In doing so, a piece of fish is lodged in her throat. She can’t breathe. As she is struggling to breathe, she is about to faint, and looking into the sun she see a vision of what appears to be a man and a very small child. After he touches her she can breathe again, but all she sees what appears to be an angle and nymph (baby angle) walking into the sun.
The next day she meets a 100 year old man who said he saw what happened and gave her the man’s name; however, he said the both the man and the child were dead.
Lisa then decides to find the family of the man (angel) who saved her life. What she found, when she found the family, changed her life forever.
